The Event

About the Event

The Heroes of America Marathon and Half Marathon Saturday, March 22, 2025 race runs through parts of Ft. Moore (formerly known as Ft Benning) and on the beautiful Columbus River Walk. The course is reasonably flat with one hill and a few short inclines. Because of the width of the River walk the Heroes of America Marathon does not allow participants who use hand-cranks.

Event History

This marathon course has been ran over the last 14 years. The name may have changed, but our values have not. We are still running in support of all of our First Responders and Military Heroes!

Event Highlights

The course will take you down the Riverwalk, through downtown, and even through Fort Benning. It is more than a marathon it is an adventure.
